So I’ve been spending all my time searching through the WWW. Today I personally, completely on my own, located this particular gem. I’m happy to report that I am officially the first site dedicated to giant effing robots to post a link to what will I’m sure soon become an infamous video.
Okay, about the video itself. My Japanese is kinda rusty, but looks like that reporter is shooting some kind of story about something that has nothing to do with giant effing robots and then — BAM! — a giant effing robot shows up right behind her. And then it hides. Typical NBE.
So what does this mean? It means someone needs to get themselves over to Japan to investigate this sighting pronto. (I already blew my savings on that WI trip, so you can count me out — unless someone wants to sponsor me…although you’ll also have to fill in for me at work as I’m out of personal days).
A lone robot sneaking through the streets of Tokyo at night…I don’t like it. Not one bit. Either one of them has gotten loose from its captors or new ones have arrived. The government needs to do something about this and FAST, which as we all know isn’t a strong point for any bureaucracy. If they just had one man responsible for alien incursions, this would probably all be over by now….
Wow. I have seen that bot before. His name is Sideswipe. This guy’s pretty much harmless.

What the heck are all of these giant “alien” robots (or NBEs) doing all around the world ?! What are they up to? World Tour ??! They have been showing up like every time and every where, man..
And oh, are they really aliens/NBEs? ‘Cause I have a theory that maybe all of these were just man-made by a mad scientist and then they are spread all over the world just to scare people…
And if they are really aliens, don’t they have the ability to destroy such devices (like videocams or cellphones) while capturing their existence? Like, destroy them when it is recording?.. For example, two big giant robots are captured on cam fighting, and another one comes unexpectedly from behind, the camera focuses on it, it looks back, then.. *bzzzt!! [lost signal]* Camera is destroyed. Darn, end of story.
Wait– ..is it time for Obama’s speech already? xD

If there are *MORE* of them now than there were before, why hasn’t the government stepped forward and asked you to reform your group? Have they put together a *new* group? -Why wouldn’t they put the person with the most experience w/ NBEs (IE- Robo-Warrior) in charge of some sort of “Non-biological Extra-terrestrial Species Team”? It only makes sense to me.
Wow. Its movements are so… human. I mean it doesn’t move like a typical machine would.
I better start doing more research into these NBE’s because I’m becoming very interested in this growing phenomena.
Methusalen, that’s the same question i asked some time back. If there was some agency why hasn’t it, and the best people from it, been put back on the case? That would seem to make the most sense…but then again, this is government we’re talking about here…;-)
but more likely, the answer is that they have been, and RW wasn’t one of them. sorry RW old pal, you know I’ve no hard feelings, and you definitely did your bit for king and country, maybe it’s best for you to try to just move on…
@BeBe: I’m sorry, I can’t accept that. If there’s one thing I remember was seeing that all the communications we dealt with back during the SS7 initiative either went through, or CAME through this one person’s email. That person was RW…
*I* believe RW is the best we have, has extensive experience with NBE’s going back for YEARS before anyone else had even started hearing the “NBE” Acronym. I’m positive that he has a larger role to play in the near future, heck; if it were humanly possible maybe even two!
Are we positive this was an alien? What about that Dr. Arkkevile guy? He’s into that mad scientist stuff, didn’ the move to Japan for his own personal research? Someone should go and talk to him.

@Methusalen: I get where you’re coming from, but at some point *someone* has to be held responsible for the events that led up to certain “elements” being allowed to escape from S7 containment and causing the Mission City debacle. Not naming any names, but there were forces trying to prevent the catastrophe that went unrecognized, to put it kindly, and others that were the cause went completely unnoticed until it was too late.
If he must continue the campaign, I earnestly hope RW gets an opportunity to redeem himself.
@BeBe: I concur regarding opportunity for the future… However, to hold him personally responsible? Everyone reports to someone else. I think RW was just used as the scapegoat in this situation.
Now that these things are starting to pop up everywhere, I think the time to act will be soon…
Incredible! I think that robot was there to be intentionally seen. They are completly aware of their surroundings, let alone an electronic video recording device. Perhaps he was trying to lure someone, or something to it’s location?
There was certainly plenty of blame to go around, no arguing that.
Lets just say, from someone very close to the situation, there was no distinction drawn between the two factions initially, and for that RW was directly responsible. Not to say that once his error was realized he didn’t do everything in his power to make things right, but judging from his blog entries I still don’t think he’s convinced that there’s a difference between auto…I mean between the two sides.

@Be Be: I’m thinking you’re right about R-W. He seems ready to paint every N.B.E. with broad strokes; I’m not convinced that all of them really wish to harm us. I trust everything my source told me. Besides, I AUTOmatically know which roBOTS I’d stand with.

@S7 – you have to understand the situation surrounding the Stop Sector Seven campaign to truly understand Methusalen’s comment. Too many people were pretending to be more deeply involved in the situation than they really were, and it made it very difficult to tell what was supposed to be taken seriously and what was not. I think both of us, having been through that, would prefer to see things not head down that path again.

@S7: My appologies, I did not mean to come off as offensive in my comment. I’d had a hard day of doing some serious manual labor (shovels, picaxe, etc), had just gotten home, fired up the laptop, and then had come here to check on the state of affairs and see just how screwed the world was going to be when I saw your latest post. Tiezane is correct when he mentions the SS7 campaign two years ago. There were so many people claiming to *BE* NBEs, *KNOW* NBEs, or they *claimed* they worked for the government agency we were trying to expose (Sorry again about that Robo-Warrior! -No hard feelings?).
It was getting out of hand, and we didn’t know who was telling the truth (Agent X, Dr. Rebecca Howard, c0d3x, etc), and who was trying to draw attention to themselves and prevent us from accomplishing our own agenda… Much like the last time around, there appears to be only ONE person we can trust to tell the truth, and that is Robo-Warrior!

You know, after viewing the footage again, I can’t help but think he may have been on the look-out for something. It almost seemed as though he was checking to make sure everything was okay, but got caught in the open by accident. Maybe he’s a sentry or something similar? Maybe he’s just keeping watch over the city? But he doesn’t look like a threat, really.
In all honesty, if there *were* N.B.E.s posting here, I’d love to hear their side of things. I’d just like to know why they’re here (though I’ve been given a few theories) and if they don’t mind a peaceful coexistence with us. I’m fine with sharing the planet as long as the newcomers are friendly.
